Rick Miller
Senior Minister
Rick has been serving as the Senior
Minister at Eastview since 1995 after  
having preached in Bedford, IN for four
years. Prior to preaching he served as
Youth Minister for fifteen years in Russell,
KY and Martin's Ferry, OH. He attained
his B.A., B.Th. and M.M. degrees from
Kentucky Christian College. He was ordained in 1980 by his home church, Moreland Christian in Canton. In conjunction with his church duties at Eastview, he also serves with Christian Training Ministries (Greenford, OH), speaking on Leadership Training and Raising Positive Kids. He is passionate about World Missions, having taken trips to 7 different countries and several trips to areas within the U.S. he serves as Board Chairman for North India Christian Mission. Rick and his wife (and partner in ministry) Pam have twin sons, Jeremy & Joshua who graduated from Cincinnati Christian University in May of 2007. Rick currently serves on the Eastview Missions and Evangelism Teams. He also teaches classes on Sunday and Wednesday nights. His hobbies are sports and reading.

Patrick Lester
Associate Minister
Patrick Lester is a native of Arizona. His
family moved to Ohio when he finished
the 6th grade. Patrick then grew up in
Holmes County, Ohio. He graduated from
Cincinnati Bible College with a degree in
Christian Education. While there, he met
a beautiful girl named Denise whom he
married in 1996. The Lesters have two children, Jaden Paige and Avery James Patrick. Patrick served in ministry in Ohio, New Jersey and East Central Indiana before coming to Eastview Christian Church. Patrick enjoys spending time with family, eating Sky-Line chili and backpacking.

Norman Ward
Shepherding Minister
Norman Ward was born near
Milton, KY in November, 1927,
the youngest of 9 children.The
family was raised on a small farm
during the "depression years"
and everyone had to work to
survive. He is a Veteran of WWII,
one of four brothers who served. 

Norman graduated from Cincinnati Bible Seminary in the class of 1953 and began serving as a minister in 1950. He and his wife Joanne devoted their years of service to establish new congregations and help weak ones. For the last 30 years they have been involved with raising money to help the Christians in Burma (name changed to Myanmar in 1991).

Joan and Norman were married in 1952. Joan is from French Lick, IN and has assisted as pianist, organist and teacher as well as wife. The Wards have 3 sons, Chuck, Mike and Steve, all involved in the Lord's work in some capacity. Then there are 4 granddaughters and 2 great granddaughters.

The Wards are helping with the work at Eastview now. They ministered here from 1974-1978. The congregation was meeting at the YMCA when they first came to Eastview. The congregation bought the present property and built the first unit of their building during those 4 years.

Kathy Forgeng
Children's Director
Kathy is the Children's Director here at
Eastview Christian Church. She organizes
the children's programs, curriculum and
activities for infants through fifth graders. 
She recruits teachers for Sunday School
and workers for the nursery. She also
gets to visit newborns and their mothers
at the hospital! She and her husband
Scott have been members since 2003 and have five daughters, Andrea, Lorna, Kristi, Greta & Heidi.


Pat Winterrowd
Office Assistant/Bookkeeper
Pat moved to Martinsville in 1970 with her
family and transferred to Eastview in 1985.
She has seven grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren. She enjoys travel,
chocolate, reading and grandchildren and
her Eastview family. She retired from Farm
Bureau Insurance in May 2002 and came
to work part-time in the office in February
of 2003. She has been active with the Finance and Mission Ministry teams for several years.


Debbi Owen
Office Manager
Debbi was born in Wheeling, W.Va.,
second eldest in a family of five,
and was raised in Columbus, Indiana.
She has a Bachelor of Science degree
in nursing from Indiana University. She
worked as a registered nurse in critical
care for ten years and in long-term care/
rehabilitation center administration for
two years. God then began working on
her heart to spend more time with her family. During her years as a stay-at-home wife/mother she spent some of her time doing volunteer work in the Martinsville community. She also volunteered as editor/publisher of Heartfelt Notes (Eastview's monthly women's newsletter) from 1998-2003. Debbi began her ministry serving in the Eastview office in June 2004. She resides with her husband Howard, their daughter Emily, dog Scooby and cat Fritz.
