Who We Are at Eastview
We are glad for the opportunity to introduce you to Eastview Christian Church. Our primary purpose is to bring people into a saved and maturing relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Eastview Christian Church is a non-denominational fellowship of believers who take the Word of God as our only authority and rule of faith and practice.
Our desire is to help you walk with God in a way that would bring peace to your heart and glory to God. Our goal is to uphold the principles of the Church in the New Testament. We seek unity with all who believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and who are committed to His Word.
The Christian Church has as its goal the restoration of the church that is clearly seen in the New Testament. We believe that the unity of believers is based on the inspired Word of God alone. (John 17, I Corinthians 1:10-11)
We are trying to fulfill the desires of our Lord by laying aside all man-made doctrines, opinions and creeds. We want to lead people to Christ according to the simple teachings of the Word.
We would ask all people, no matter what type of church background they may have, to join us in taking Christ as our Savior and His Word as our guide.
What We Believe
We believe that God exists and that He is all knowing, all powerful, ever present and eternal.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God and is our risen Lord and Savior.
We believe that the Holy Spirit of God is active in bringing us to Christ and dwells within the heart of all who accept Christ as Lord and Savior.
We believe that the Bible is inspired by God and accept both Old and New Testament as our only guide and authority.
We believe that the Church is comprised of those who have accepted Christ as Lord and Savior and who together form His body on earth today. The book of Acts defines and describes the true Church.
